Shimadzu's application note introduces the ITEX DHS (in-tube extraction dynamic headspace) sample introduction method for use with the AOC-6000 Plus Multifunctional Autosampler.

Unlike conventional methods, ITEX DHS allows analysis at higher sensitivities by enriching headspace components contained in a vial into an adsorbent-filled syringe. Results show trace components could be detected with high sensitivity.
